Cursor launched Cursors Projects coordinator agent and Gemini Windows app is finally available π
Cursor Projects coordinator agent
Introducing Projects, a new way of working in Cursor.
Rather than creating a chat for every task, you work with a coordinator agent in a single, persistent thread.
@bot, your agent is always on, proactively manages work with subagents, and improves over time.
Projects can set reminders, run scheduled tasks, follow PRs to fix CI issues, watch Slack for bug reports, and more.
Lots of quotes today, but I think this one is also very relevant π
In February we outlined our vision for a third era of software development, where fleets of agents take on entire bodies of work.
Projects is the concrete implementation of that vision. By moving up a level of abstraction, it frees developers from managing agents and lets them direct the work itself.
So it is basically a bot that manages projects and coordinates tasks with subagents, providing a higher level of abstraction for developers. Sounds cool, if it works π

Today we’re launching Projects in Cursor. Projects lets you take on larger bodies of work, such as a feature, a migration, or a full app.
It maintains context over months of work, delegates tasks to thousands of subagents, and performs recurring work without being prompted.
It is in beta π so be mindful of that π

The Gemini app is now available for Windows
For the longest time it was only on MACs and now we finally have a Windows version available. I am not sure how useful it will be, given we are used to just using things in the browser by now, but it is still nice to have the option for those who prefer a dedicated desktop app.
