AI - OpenAI DevDay 2026 - Dots and GPT-6.1 Sol model
Yesterday OpenAI hosted their DevDay 2026, showcasing the latest advancements in AI, including the Dots agent and the GPT-6.1 Sol model.
There are plenty of posts covering the event and the new announcements, so I will try to keep it relatively brief here 🤣
Some people are super happy with Dots as it is a response for Muse and Grok Bot, but even see it as a better way of doing things.
Also some people are super happy with GPT-6.1 Sol, praising its efficiency with respect to how cheap it is compared to previous models whilst others claim it is really not that good.
Seems like a day that ends with “y” indeed 🤣
