AI - Grok 4.7 released and opinions are split to say the least 🤣

Not sure if to completely drown the news about Grok 4.7 but Anthropic and OpenAI both released their new models a day later 🤣

No point in covering where they are available, because chances are, whatever you are using, they are already there 🤣

Mind you, not the super duper the best models, so no successor to Astra, nor do we have new Fable, but we have the cheaper versions but still super powerful.

I do like how we are getting finally some fight around how things cost not just how powerful they are.

Introducing Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in our new Claude 5.5 family.

It performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 for most tasks, and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5.

It is genuinely great to see the improvements in both performance and cost efficiency with Opus 5.5.

I actually have been using Claude myself for the last few days and Opus 5 was sooooo expensive, Opus 5.5 seems not only smarter and quicker, but it also consumes A LOT less tokens. I am genuinely impressed by it.
