NVIDIA was not kidding when they were talking about supporting open-source AI, and what better way to do so than buying the biggest and well-known open-source AI company?</p> <p>First <a href="https://stripe.com/gb/newsroom/news/stripe-agrees-to-acquire-openrouter">OpenRouter bought by Stripe</a>, and now this 😊</p> <p>The NVIDIA&rsquo;s acquisition of Hugging Face is a very good move because now they literally cannot lose 🤣 They &ldquo;fund&rdquo; the frontier models/companies and now they also pretty much &ldquo;own&rdquo; the open-source too 😊</p>
